About us
Woodside Bundanoon is the vision of a group of professionals who understand how important it is for retirees to have the opportunity to continue their connection to the community.
Despite the depth of feeling Bundanoon residents have for their village, there was no option for retirees to stay in the area in a supported yet independent community of like minds (and active bodies). That’s why we got together to create a place for Highlanders – including those new to the Highlands – to “age in place”.
Woodside Bundanoon is a place that’s ideal for the discerning downsizer who enjoys indoor and outdoor living – and intends to continue to do so.
Our environmental commitment
Living in the Southern Highlands means living with nature – it’s why so many of us are drawn to this spectacular part of the world. To design accommodation for retirees and over 55s in Bundanoon, we took our queues from its natural landscape, leafy streets and bushland walking paths.
Our planting guide – soon to be established with advanced-growth shrubs and trees – incorporates green frontages and a wildlife corridor to protect habitats.
Woodside Bundanoon’s team of design experts has also incorporated:

North-facing aspects and industry-standard insulation for energy efficiency, to keep residents cool in summer and warm in winter

A water storage and usage plan including stormwater reticulation and water tanks

Bio basin design, where water filters through native sedges and grasses at the front of the property before heading out to the local reservoir
